Let AI do the talking! Google's new AI-powered chatbot, Bard, is now available to everyone. Google has launched BARD, an AI-powered chatbot, to join the ranks of OpenAI and Microsoft in the chatbot arena. Designed with productivity, creativity, and curiosity in mind while fighting against potential biases and misinformation, BARD is currently available for use in both the United States and the United Kingdom; plans are already underway to extend its reach across more countries as well as add additional languages.
Bard, driven by a research-based large language model (LLM), is an optimized version of LaMDA. It's been designed to serve as the perfect companion for Google Search, making it easy for users to assess output and delve into other sources on the web.
By standing apart from Google's search engine, the AI technology of Bard can be adopted while still enabling Google to maintain its profitable search business. This is accomplished through the use of a singular question box as opposed to being integrated into the existing framework.
TikTok is back with a bang! The popular platform has surpassed 150 million monthly active users in the United States. This milestone marks an increase of 50 million from the 100 million users recorded last year when TikTok was facing bans in India and the U.S., as well as other issues.
This impressive growth is likely due to a combination of factors, including the launch of new features such as Reels and Top View, increased marketing efforts from influencers and celebrities, and an overall surge in app usage during pandemic lockdowns. Despite suffering some legal setbacks recently, TikTok continues to be one of the world’s leading social media platforms, and it shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon.
