The Amazon Corner
Amazon at it Again: New Purchasing AI is Now Here
Move over, Google, Rufus is here:It's no secret that Amazon has revolutionized the way we purchase products online through their sophisticated algorithms. However, they're ready to step it up with a new tool called "Rufus," which aims to answer customer questions, compare products, and even make recommendations through a conversational interface.
Rufus reduces the chances of shoppers hopping on Google for product-related questions, thus the risk of losing them to other competitors. According to Amazon CEO Andy Jassy “Rufus is going to meaningfully change what discovery looks like for its shopping experience and for its customers”.
Shopify to the Rescue: New Updates Save Hours of Work

These updates cover everything from improving conversion rates and streamlining the checkout process to expanding into new channels and enhancing marketing efforts with AI tools.
One of the most exciting updates is the new product model that allows for multiple variations under one listing, saving users time and effort. And with the new use of AI in Shopify Audiences, targeting potential customers on various social media platforms has never been easier.
