Don't get crushed by rate hikes! Even though they are experiencing a decrease in business,UPS and FedEx have both announced that their delivery rateswill increase by 6.9% on average. However, shippers could end up paying even more than that with the full extent of the changes.
The amount customers need to pay for shipping depends on various factors such as the services utilized, packages shipped and destinations of their deliveries. They should also expect larger charges for shipments traveling longer distances, additional handling fees and higher minimum package charges.
